Hey There! I am Mirlan and mirlanium is my personal project encompassing my intellectual and creative endeavors. I'm a second-year PhD student at ETH Zurich and a research student at Mercedes-Benz working on video generation and world models, with a focus on autonomous driving.
Outside research, I make minimal and deep electronic music. I believe in minimalism as methodology: in research, in music, in how I structure my tools and my time.
I was born and raised in Azerbaijan, since 2016 I have lived in Hungary, South Korea, and Switzerland making many memories and friends.
